Bishop George Deal, Senior Pastor
Raised in a firm Christian home from Chicago, IL. He established a firm belief in God. Known to many as “The Visionary''. Entrepreneur, teacher, and leader but most importantly an advocate for the west-side of Chicago. Bishop Deal continued his education; attending Charles Harrison Mason Bible College. He also holds an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Grace Theological Seminary located in South Carolina. His community involvement includes; Founder of Wells Temple Community Development Corp., County Board Supervisor (WI), Vice-Chair of Social Services for Rock County, Vice-Chair of Education and Training, HUD, among other positions held within Community Organizations. Under Bishop Deal's leadership, many community outlets and programs have been established.

In October of 2003, he was appointed Superintendent of the Friendship District, serving in this capacity for 5 years. In July of 2008, after receiving the blessing of Bishop Washington, he united with the Churches of the Living God and was appointed Bishop-Elect. In October of 2008, he was consecrated Bishop of the Midwest Diocese.
Bishop Deal is currently pastor's Wells Temple of Deliverance Church. In April of 2002, he and the congregation of Wells Temple moved into their sanctuary, soon to be a hall and multipurpose space for the Garfield community. A new community center and offices, daycare, and sanctuary is currently being completed and anticipated to be complete in 2022.
Missionary Clara Deal,
First Lady
Missionary Clara Marie Deal, born to the late Pastor Claude Fleming and Julia Fleming. She accepted Christ at an early age and has worked in the ministry most of her life.
She is a graduate of The University of WI-Whitewater. She began her career in education 27 years ago as a Basic Skills Instructor and college counselor and advisor. She is the former owner and director of the University for Kids Academy.
Missionary Clara Deal became licensed in 2003 under Mother Rosa Smith and Fifth Jurisdiction Illinois-West, Bishop James Washington, Prelate. She works with her church as well as the community center as a board member. She works beside her husband in the ministry and her servanthood includes Sunday School Teacher, Chair of the Women's Dept., Singer and Music Dept. Chair. Her desire is that all would come into the knowledge of Jesus Christ and accept him as their Lord and Saviour.
Lady Deal has been married for 36 years to Bishop Deal. They are the parents of two daughters C'iara and Chakyra.
